Sneak Peak at 'The Walking Dead' Season 4

AMC has released a new clip from Season 4 of The Walking Dead, which debuts on the free cable channel on Sunday, October 13th. The new clip focuses on Michonne, who is shown riding her new horse as she arrives at the prison and has to fend off a few walkers.

Animation legend June Foray will receive the prestigious Governors Award at the upcoming Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony on September 15. The beloved voice actress, who is 95, and is best known for her roles as Rocky and Natasha (The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show), Granny (The Bugs Bunny Show) and the voice of the scary Talky Tina doll in the famous 1963 episode of The Twilight Zone, will receive an honorary Emmy for six decades of bringing characters to life. Other noted roles include Cindy Lou (How the Grinch Stole Christmas), Witch Hazel (Looney Tunes) and Jokey Smurf (The Smurfs) and Lucifer the Cat (Cinderella).

McFarlane Working on 'Spawn' Movie

Spawn creator Todd McFarlane hasn’t given up on the creation of a second live-action Spawn film, even though it has been in development since 1998. The first Spawn movie debuted in 1997 and earned a total of $87.8 million worldwide, barely enough to defray its $40 million cost, but plans for a sequel were announced in 1998, and various projects have slipped away over the intervening years. Now however, with several extremely talented African-American actors such as Jamie Foxx expressing interest in playing Spawn on the big screen, the project appears to have regained some momentum.

Disney to Bring Miyazaki’s ‘The Wind Rises’ to N.A.

Walt Disney Studios has announced that it will be handling North American theatrical distribution of Studio Ghibli’s latest animated film, The Wind Rises, directed by toon legend Hayao Miyazaki. The film will be released under the studio’s Touchstone Pictures banner.
The film, based on an original manga by Miyazaki, blends WWII aircraft engineer Jiro Horikoshi and his biographer Tatsuo Hori to create the film’s hero, Jiro. The invented character is at the center of a tale of love, perseverance and the challenges of living and making choices in a turbulent world.
