Cowboy Comedy - Director Shinichiro Watanabe (Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo) has announced his newest series, Space Dandy, and the anime watching world has rejoiced. Watanabe is fairly cryptic about this new show but promises it will be an out-and-out comedy, his first since bursting onto the scene almost two decades ago. Cinematheque Hosts ‘Cowboy Bebop’ Screening & Panel

The Art Directors Guild in conjunction with the American Cinematheque are hosting a special panel and screening of the 2001 popular anime title, Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (original title: Tengoku no tobira)
This futuristic animated feature from Japan that blends film noir, spaghetti western, Hong Kong style action, and much more into a remarkable work of film art. Directed by Shinichirô Watanabe, the film finds the bounty-hunting Bebop crew on the track of a cold-blooded criminal who has releases a deadly virus upon the masses.

Dorothy and her pals from the upcoming 3-D, CG-animated feature Legends of Oz have a new home on the web. Producing studio Summertime Entertainment has officially launched www.LegendsofOzMovie.com as the online home of the transmedia franchise. The movie will be released by Clarius Entertainment in May 2014.
Co-developed with MegaWorldMedia, the new site provides easy access to the latest news, videos, games, and apps like Toto Dance Party recently released for iPhone, iPad and iPod.
