Doctor Daisuke - If George Clooney's long term success is any indication, people love medical shows (and handsome/charming men who own Italian villas). Japanese people are no exception, which is why, starting in July, Japanese TV network NTV is debuting a new show based on Ryu Koshino's Machiisha Jumbo ("Town Doctor Jumbo!"). EXILE frontman Daisuke Maki will portray the titular doctor who is as skilled with his patients as he is disliked by his co-workers. Move over Doogie...there's a new ridiculously named television doctor in town.

New Copy of 'Action Comics' #1 Discovered

A contractor has discovered a previously unknown copy of Action Comics #1 being used as insulation in the wall of a house built in 1938, the year the comic was published. It was found, along with newspapers also used as insulation, as he tore apart the walls of a house he’d purchased as a rehab for $10,100.
The comic ended up grading out as a CGC 1.5, and is now being auctioned by ComicConnect. The current top bid, with 19 days left in the auction, is $113,111.

Steven Spielberg will exec produce a live-action TV series based on the popular video game franchise Halo for Microsoft’s new console Xbox One. The series will include exclusive interactive Xbox One content that is created in partnership with 343 Industries and Xbox Entertainment Studios, says The Hollywood Reporter
