First 'Thor: The Dark World' Trailer Includes Battle Scene

Marvel has released the first trailer for Thor: The Dark World, which will premiere November 8th. It includes at least some brief glimpses of the large battle scene seen in some of the set photos that leaked out during shooting (see "'Thor 2' Shooting Photos"). The first poster was released last Friday (see "First 'Thor: The Dark World' Poster").

Futurama Makes Final Voyage, Again

This summer’s all-new season on Comedy Central will mark the (second) final chapter of Matt Groening’s sci-fi animated comedy, Futurama. The 13-episode run, which will bring the series total to 140 episodes, will premiere on the channel with back-to-back episodes Wednesday, June 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, with the series finale set for September 4. Special guest stars for the farewell season include Larry Bird, Dan Castellaneta, Sarah Silverman, George Takei, Adam West and Burt Ward. The show’s entire original voice cast will be returning.

Another 'Thrones' Ratings Record

Game of Thrones set another new ratings record on Sunday, with 4.9 million viewers for its initial showing at 9 p.m. The series began setting new records with its first episode of the season, which drew 4.4 million viewers (see "'Dead,' 'Thrones' Set Records"), and appears to be gaining momentum as the season progresses.
