A special screening and 25th Anniversary Reunion of the cast and crew of Robert Zemeckis’ seminal feature Who Framed Roger Rabbit packed the house at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences theater in Beverly Hills on Thursday night (April 4). Beautifully moderated by Wreck-It Ralph director Richard Moore, the evening featured helmer Robert Zemeckis, producer Don Hahn, actor Charles Fleischer, actress Joanna Cassidy, supervising animator Andreas Deja, associate producer Steve Starkey and screenwriters Jeffrey Price and Peter S. Seaman sharing memorable anecdotes and behind-the-scenes tidbits about the making of the movie.

'Trinity War'--DC Summer Event With Three Justice Leagues

DC has revealed that "Trinity War," its big summer event, will run six issues in three Justice League titles in July and August, via USA Today. The three titles and their creative teams are Justice League, by Geoff Johns with art by Ivan Reis and Joe Prado; Justice League of America, written by Johns and Jeff Lemire, with art by Doug Mahnke; and Justice League Dark, written by Jeff Lemire with art by Mikel Janin.

Rulings Against DC In Supes Attorney Case

Marc Toberoff, attorney to the heirs of Superman creators Jerome Siegel and Joseph Shuster, will not have to pay $500,000 in legal fees to DC Comics, under a ruling Thursday in federal court, according to Variety. The fees were requested as part of broad-ranging litigation over Toberoff’s representation of the heirs; a key ruling went Toberoff’s way in March (see “Warners Loses One in Supes Fight”), and Thursday’s rulings appear to wrap up the case, unless DC appeals.
The judge also ruled that DC’s tortious interference claims against Toberoff were beyond the statute of limitation, and noted that other claims were moot given the status of the over-all litigation over the rights.
