'Comic Book People: Photographs from the 1970s and 1980s'

Jackie Estrada, who has been involved in photography and comics for over 40 years, will release Comic Book People: Photographs from the 1970s and 1980s, a photography book featuring comic creators and other comic industry veterans from the 1970s and 1980s.
Currently close to its goal on Kickstarter, the book will be released to the trade in September. Estrada plans to solicit through Diamond, and will be using Atlas/Bookmasters for distribution to the book trade. Tentative MSRP will be $34.95.

‘Hot in Cleveland’ Gets Animated This Season

TV Land has announced that the fifth season of its hit original sitcom Hot in Cleveland will boast an animated episode (titled, surprise, “The Animated Episode”). Titmouse, Inc. will be tackling the tooned-out version of the show, which stars Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White. An exact airdate is to be announced, but the new season of Cleveland kicks off on Wednesday, March 26 at 10 p.m.

Robert Redford Gets His Own 'Winter Soldier' Poster

Tiger & Bunny’ Anime Gets U.S. Screenings

Anime action film Tiger & Bunny: The Movie — The Rising will come in March to the United States via a series of special theatrical screenings courtesy of VIZ Media and Eleven Arts.
Tiger & Bunny: The Movie — The Rising is the second feature to come from the popular Japanese superhero anime TV series. Premiering in Japan in February, the film will play theatrical dates starting March 14 in 20 cities throughout North American, including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Seattle. When I was growing every Saturday Morning I would watch the super funny Loony Tunes. With Bugs Bunny,The Road Runner and my favorite Daffy Duck i.e. Duck Dodgers of the 24 1/2 Century. When it comes to Saturday Morning action no one was better than Hanna-Barbera Superheroes in the 60's were the best anywhere my favorite was "Space Ghost Council of Doom" that featured all the H-B superheroes from Shazzan to the Heculoids, that was only the start H-B's action heroes included Birdman and The Galaxy trio or as I called them the H-B version of the Fantastic Four, another great H-B show from the Marvel series and who could forget The Impossibles and Frankenstein Jr. I could go on.
