Warner Bros. Television has revealed the slate of new and returning series that will be highlighted on its Comic-Con International events schedule. In addition to live-action fare, which will include full pilots for Fox’s robot-cop drama Almost Human and The CW’s new sci-fi series The Tomorrow People and The One Hundred and panels for The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off The Originals, toons will be well represented during the pop-culture confab.

Enter the Dragon turns forty this year and to celebrate Warner Bros. is unveiling a brand new Blu-ray package. The collector's edition comes with a red envelope that includes an iron-on patch (an immediate red flag for bullies), an official "Ally of the Dragon" card (so you can be a card-carrying badass), several commemorative stills from the film and even a sweet lenticular of Bruce swingin' around his nunchaku. 'Marine Boy: The Complete First Season'

The Warner Archive Collection has announced the DVD release of Marine Boy: The Complete First Season, one of the first anime series to air on American TV.
Premiering in 1966, Marine Boy was one of the first color cartoons to be produced in Japan but intended for first-run syndication in the United States, following Kimba the White Lion from 1965 (although three trial episodes preceded Kimba under the title Dolphin Prince). Marine Boy follows the underwater adventures of the teenage hero battling evil on behalf of the Ocean Patrol, with help from his father Dr. Mariner, Professor Fumble, his white dolphin Splasher, and young mermaid friend Neptina, among others.

CBLDF Manga Guide Published by Dark Horse

Dark Horse will publish CBLDF Presents Manga: Introduction, Challenges, and Best Practices, an authoritative guide for librarians, educators, and parents, this summer, for release to the trade in December. The book will first be seen at the American Library Association Annual Conference this weekend in Chicago and at Anime Expo in Los Angeles next week.
The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund organized the handbook with a grant from the Gaiman Foundation. It covers the history of manga, its demographic segments, key creators, and the challenges of the North American market.
