May We Recommend: Captain America & Bucky
Captain America and Bucky tells the origin of Cap's teenaged sidekick through the eyes of Bucky himself. Ed Brubaker and Marc Andreyko do a wonderful job of seamlessly modernizing Bucky for the modern reader without losing the spirit the character.
Chris Samnee's art perfectly blends in with the time period in a way that's not retro or kitschy. It's a timeless story that's smart, relatable, and fun. We really can't recommend it enough.
Lucky for you, we still have a few copies of Captain America And Bucky #620, which is the first issue of the miniseries told within the pages of the Captain America series (hence the numbering).
